GAPS Stage 5

Oh hello there. You’ve found some very old content. Please read the disclaimer on this page before thinking I’m still a total sheep who has been sucked into a bone-broth worshipping fad diet. Been there, learned from that and am now a much less rigid human.

These recipes can be enjoyed on Stage 5 of the GAPS nutritional protocol. Remember to keep enjoying your broth, soups and ferments, especially as you introduce new foods such as salads and apple puree, as these will assist in the digestive process and may make you less likely to have a poor reaction to them.

*Recipes from stages 1-4 are all still encouraged as you move on to experimenting with stage 5 additions

Bahahaha – LOL … I clearly had lost all interest in recipe creation by the time stage 5 rolled around. This is what GAPS can do to you. Recipe creation is so much less fun when you can’t use banana flour, oats, cacao or buckwheat.

From memory, I let my creative juices dream up meals for my friends and family to enjoy instead, while I sat down to my 50 billionth (or so it seemed) GAPS muffin for that month.

Okay, the math was exaggerated a bit.
