I believe that plant-based diets are kind to our gut bugs, animal friends and the environment as a whole. I also believe that in time, the body adapts and evolves to yield adequate nutrition from plants alone. That said, if you’ve subscribed to an omnivorous diet up until now, veganism will shock your system. Your body be like “yo, human, got milk?”

Veganism is not something you undertake for trend’s sake or because a celebrity is pushing it on Instagram. A vegan diet can be a health-giving game-changer, but it needs to be done carefully.

If you desire support in transitioning to a plant-based diet without skimping on nutrients or developing a disordered relationship with food (or are just really confused by the conflicting health advice that is out there) please feel free to contact me and book a complimentary phone call to see if my nutritional consults or counselling sessions would be a good short-term fit to help you on your way.

Preventing nutritional rigidity and disordered eating is why I became a Qualified Nutritionist in the first place.
